Live phonics classes · Ages 3½ to 5
Your child starts school already reading
Three levels over nine months. By the end, your child can sit down with a Grade 1 book and read it [CONFIRM claim].
Free, friendly, no tests.

Why the first year matters
On the first day of school, children are quietly sorted into reading groups:
- the ones already reading
- the ones just starting
- the ones still learning letters
That first sorting shapes how they see themselves all year. TurboPhonics helps your child start in the first group.

Three levels, three months each
1 · Letters to words
Know all 26 letter sounds, blend them, and read and write three-letter words like cat and sun.
2 · Words to sentences
Read longer words and simple sentences smoothly.
3 · Sentences to books
Work out new words on their own and read short books.
What's covered, for keen parents: blends, magic e, letter teams, prefixes and suffixes, syllables.
What a week looks like
- Two live classes: one teaches something new, one practises it.
- Groups of four or five.
- Classes start at 45 minutes and grow to an hour.
- In Level 1, please stay nearby. Four-year-olds still need help with the mute button.

Simple, honest, on paper
On paper, not on a screen
Home practice is worksheets, not apps or logins. Class time is the only screen time.
There's no entrance test
Just a friendly call. We'll ask whether your child can sit for about half an hour, knows some letters, and enjoys being read to. None of these are must-haves. Most children start at Level 1; the best age to start is around 4 to 4½.
How you'll know it's working
By about week 8, your child should be blending sounds into words. If not, we'll tell you and change how we support them. Every term you get an assessment and a written report.
just for fun!
The one thing we ask
Read aloud to your child every day, just for fun. They don't have to read back.
What parents say
from real TLH parents
“My daughter joined without knowing even one phonics sound. Within just 3 months, she can blend and read three-letter words. The classes are very interactive and keep the kids interested the whole time. I highly recommend them.”
“My daughter will soon be 4, and she can read and write words of up to five letters comfortably. She's a preschooler who reads short storybooks on her own. The structured approach, and how closely they track and share each child's progress, is commendable.”
“My son knew the phonics sounds but couldn't blend them into words. After joining, he started reading fluently. Now he reads chapter books without help and is genuinely interested in reading. The teaching is patient, playful and keeps kids engaged.”
